Who is responsible for obtaining the licenses and necessary copyright allowances?

Modified on Sun, 27 Oct, 2024 at 4:12 PM

According to our Registration and Submission of Artworks Policies, it is the individual artist's responsibility to secure the necessary copyright allowances for any published works used in their artistic forms, e.g. music for dances, footage for films etc. Artists must independently acquire all required licenses, rights, and permissions for any third-party materials included in their artistic pieces. This includes, but is not limited to, music, trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights. It is important for artists to keep written proof of all licenses obtained, as Global Encounters may request this documentation to be uploaded during registration. Please note that Jubilee Arts does not accept any liability or responsibility for any violations of these requirements.
